KRET launches the production of tips for pipette dispensers, in which it invests 360 million rubles. This was announced by the press service of Rostec (the concern is part of this state corporation) on February 22, 2022.

Disposable polymer tips will begin to be produced in two versions (sterile and non-sterile) and five types (from 10 to 1000 microliters) at the Ulan-Ude instrument-making production association in the first half of 2022. Part of the products will be equipped with filters to prevent cross-contamination of samples, protection of pipette and samples when pipetting volatile, corrosive or viscous substances.

The company will provide a full production cycle: from the storage of purchased components and raw materials to the sale of finished products to consumers. With a round-the-clock work regime, a total of at least 80 workers will be employed in the workplace.

According to Alexander Pan, General Director of KRET JSC, in the future it is planned to produce about 500 million tips per year, due to which the share of imported products of this class in Russia will be reduced from 80% to 45%. It is assumed that new products will be in demand not only in the domestic market, but also abroad. By February 2022, experts from the Asia-Pacific region, such as India and Mongolia, as well as from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, showed interest in it, Pan said.

Most of the financing of this project (290 million rubles) came from a soft loan issued to the program of the Industrial Development Fund.

Pipette dispenser tips are designed for high-precision dosing, separation, transfer and mixing of various liquids and substances. Among the main consumers of products are medical and veterinary institutions, chemical laboratories and research centers.[1]
