Vinny is a startup that was launched at the end of 2021 by co-founder of the AA_Capital investment fund Alexei Malikov, IT entrepreneur Nikita Anifriev and James Akvukh, who previously worked at Yandex. The company has developed a mobile application for parents with various ideas of interesting and developing activities for children. The application has the ability to determine the duration and type of activity. For example, the Sponge Bob game is offered with a duration of about 15 minutes, which should help the child develop concentration and fine motor skills. As props, you will need water, a sponge for washing dishes and plates. One plate must be filled with water, and the second left empty. It is necessary to put the sponge in the first plate of water and ask the child to transfer water from the first container to the second using the sponge. An example of a picture game is attached under each game.

History

2022: Attracting Investment

At the end of February 2022, it became known about investing in Vinny. Alexander Bakhmann's Admitad venture fund, the German X 10 Gmbh fund, as well as business angels Aleksei Yershov, Pavel Tyunev, Konstantin Bushuev, Dmitry Maksimenko and Alexander Zyurikov invested in the startup. According to the results of this investment transaction, the company was valued at $5 million.

Vinny will spend the funds raised on marketing events. The shares of investors in the project and the size of their investments are not called.[1]

According to the project website, the application offers 1000 ideas for quality pastime with children aged 2 to 5 years. According to the developers, the service will suit parents who want to play with their child, but do not know where to start, or they do not have time to look for a suitable game. Vinny refers to the results of 37 "in-depth discussions with parents."
