2022: Certification to the TAPA FSR 2020 International Security Standard
Freight operator of Sheremetyevo International Airport "Moscow Cargo" has passed certification according to the international safety standard TAPA FSR 2020.
Certification of the Moscow Cargo cargo terminal indicates compliance with international safety standards for the transportation and storage of expensive goods at high risk of theft (works of art, pharmaceuticals, high-tech goods, electronics, etc.).
During the audit of Moscow Cargo LLC, special attention was paid to the qualification of personnel and the organization of alarm and video monitoring systems using more than 700 day/night vision cameras on the territory of the terminal. The video monitoring system provides round-the-clock total monitoring of the cargo processing process.
Also, the terminal perimeter security systems were carefully checked: the access control and control system (MCDS) to the storage areas and the gas fire extinguishing system. These systems play an important role in ensuring the safety of valuable assets.
In 2021, more than 1,800 tons of shipments of the VAL (valuable cargo) and VUN (vulnerable cargo) category passed through the Moscow Cargo terminal, which is 41.7% higher than in 2020 and 16.1% higher than in the pre-Andemic period. Passing the TAPA FSR certification of Moscow Cargo LLC opens up additional opportunities to attract demanding customers who pay special attention to compliance with the necessary protective measures when handling valuable and vulnerable goods.
