2022: Project Announcement
At the end of February 2022, HTC presented a metaverse project called Viverse. The company also promises to protect children from the harmful impact of virtual hazards in the development process.
HTC Chairman Cher Wong presented the video and made several announcements related to Viverse, which will use virtual reality Vive HTC's VR headsets. According to Wong, the metaverse will become a safe and reliable environment for both children and adults. This will be a space for collaboration and entertainment.
In Viverse, users will be able to study in the gym from their living room, attend virtual concerts and climb virtual glaciers. The metaverse technologies that will be used in this project include virtual reality, augmented reality, blockchain and 5G networks. According to Sher Wong, technology should be sidelined, and impressions should come to the fore. Wong added that from the very beginning, our concept of Vive Reality was to combine humanity with technology to reveal the imagination.
Free mode allows users to provide access to certain applications and content that children can study on their own terms. However, parents will also be able to choose an option, due to which users will be able to limit young people to certain opportunities, for example, applications and television shows broadcast from the accompanying application on your phone or Android tablet. The user can see what the children are using, and they will need permission to download content or shop. The Vive Guardian application will be available in the Google Play and Viveport catalogs.[1]
