On March 2, 2022, Huawei introduced gigabit fiber-to-the-room (FTTR) solutions. Solutions allow you to bring optical cables to each room and create a fully optical platform for smart homes and digital enterprises. They provide gigabit Wi-Fi 6 coverage anywhere and provide users with completely new ways to interact with digital technologies.

Huawei's FTTR is an innovative communications technology that will be a good choice for transforming ICT in homes and businesses. As of March 2022, more than 20 international operators are testing or introducing Huawei FTTR solutions for commercial use.

Global digital transformation accelerated after the spread of COVID-19 began. Home broadband networks are being reoriented from supporting high-definition video entertainment to multicentral services such as XR immersive technologies, home office, and intelligent systems spanning the entire home. Enterprise services have also moved to the cloud. • Full roaming: Intelligent roaming technology helps to deploy a single network for the whole home. The client switching delay is less than 20 ms, allowing smooth roaming at any time anywhere.
• Full management - Intelligent operation and maintenance supports real-time Wi-Fi network health monitoring, single-click discovery, and remote recovery.
• Complete environmental friendliness: Ultra-flexible transparent fibers are used for data transmission, which are distinguished by corrosion resistance, attractive price, environmental safety and a service life of up to 30 years. Huawei's primary and peripheral FTTR equipment also provides a 20% reduction in power consumption.
