2022: Solution Presentation

On March 2, 2022, Huawei introduced gigabit fiber-to-the-room solutions FTTR). Solutions allow you to bring optical cables to each room and create a fully optical platform for smart homes and digital enterprises. They provide gigabit Wi-Fi 6 coverage anywhere and provide users with completely new ways to interact with digital technologies.

For small and medium enterprises, Huawei has released the FTTR for SME (FTTR for SMB) solution, which includes enterprise-level FTTR optical gateways, photovoltaic composite cables and other components of the optical network.

Distinctive features of the solution:

  • Ultra-high coverage: Provide gigabit Wi-Fi coverage in every room and seamlessly switch users. NAT hardware forwarding supports the simultaneous operation of 300 clients.
  • Easy to Deploy - Use point-to-multipoint (P2MP) technology to support flexible expansion, reducing fiber demand by 30%. The four-in-one primary gateway is easy to install and combines optical and power functions. Peripheral gateways do not need a separate power supply and support automatic configuration.
  • Easy to manage - Provides tools to visualize and manage network metrics, supports single-click detection, segment-based speed testing, and remote Wi-Fi optimization.

Huawei FTTR solutions not only improve the quality of Internet access for users of home networks and small and medium-sized businesses, but also provide special competitive advantages for operators. FTTR will help to deploy a single network for a home or enterprise and expand the range of broadband services of operators. Fully optical Wi-Fi platform based on FTTR will bring operators additional revenue and will help to further expand the grandiose market of digital solutions for home and enterprises.
