The module "Cluster of the DocsVision Database" is created especially for large implementations of electronic document management systems in which there can be hundreds and thousands of actively working users. On large enterprises, in banks and other organizations where flows of documents and the related business processes are very intensive, load of a database server sharply increases that can lead to significant decline in production. The module executes a role of the instrument of horizontal scaling, the problem of balancing of load of a database server thereby is solved. Using the Cluster of the database different requests between servers are distributed.
Varfolomeyev Anton, the director of production of DocsVision company, explains: "The new functionality is that one of copies of the database is appointed as 'operational', and the second – as 'analytical'. In the first only requests on data processing of cards and files whereas in the second – the search queries and representations (reports) creating considerable computing loading are executed. Between the basis for data and its copy permanent synchronization of data is executed. Such cast allows to lower load of the basis and most effectively to configure each database server under specifics of the tasks assigned to it".
The new product is a part Paqueta Optimizatsii Proizvoditelnosti. It is a set of the functionality intended for performance improvement of the solution based on DocsVision at operation in the conditions of heavy loads - a large number of documents and business processes, a large number of actively working users.
Except a database Cluster the Cluster of Process management and the Cluster of the DocsVision application server enter the Packet. The first is the means of a clustering of the DocsVision WorkFlow-server increasing performance of processing of business processes. The second gives an opportunity of horizontal scaling of the application server with dynamic balancing of loading.
