2022: Introduction of digital train control system

On March 16, 2022, the Group of Companies 1520 reported that specialists from its ZHAT Division equipped the Knyazevka station in the Saratov Region with a microprocessor centralization system, and also installed an auto-lock on the Knyazevka - Neftyanaya stretch.

Knyazevka is the first facility on the Volga Railway, where it introduced microprocessor centralization of MPC-EL of domestic development and [[Industrial production 'production}.

MPC-EL allows you to control the arrows and traffic lights of the station, and also knows how to automatically line train routes according to the established parameters. The introduction of current automation increases the capacity of lines, reduces operating costs, reduces intervals and improves traffic safety. The MPC-EL system provides cyber protection against attacks from external networks in order to prevent unauthorized access  to railway infrastructure.

Digitalization of the Knyazevka station is part of the Russian Railways program for the modernization of the Volga road. As part of the program, GK 1520 plans to equip a number of facilities in the Saratov region with the MPC-EL system.

The Knyazevka-Grudovaya station opened in 1879, and as of mid-March 2022 it is part of the Saratov railway junction. Large shipper - Saratov Oil Refinery.
