VK disconnects from Microsoft office software and switches to Russian "MyOffice"

On March 24, 2022, VK Holding (formerly Mail.ru Group) announced the transition to Russian office software instead of Microsoft products after the company encountered problems displaying attachments in the mail client Mail.ru.

"MyOffice" provided the holding with its product "Autonomous Editing Module," explained to the publication the commercial director of "MyOffice" Elena Nepochatova. She clarified that we are talking about a tool for opening and viewing text and table files in a browser.

According to Renat Lashin, executive director of the Domestic Software Association, a change of partner with Microsoft to a Russian company will not affect the quality of the product and functionality.
