Project Tasks

Earlier in the company the sheaf from systems on the 1C: Enterprise 7.7 platform was used: "1C: Trade and Warehouse", "1C: Accounting" and "1C: Payroll and HR Management". Active development of group from 6 legal entities led to the fact that possibilities of the existing information system ceased to satisfy requirements of the enterprise regarding accounting automation. Besides, there was a need for control automation by finance and management accounting. For the solution of these tasks the company management started the choice of the end-to-end information system combining possibilities of conducting operational, accounting and management accounting in a common information space.

Project Effect

During the project of automation of Evrokhimservice company the following subsystems "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" are implemented:

  • Accounting and tax accounting
  • Payroll calculation and personnel records
  • Cash management
  • Customer relationship management (CRM)
  • Vendor relationship management (SRM)
  • Sales management
  • Purchase management
  • Order management
  • Inventory management
  • Sales planning

In total 50 jobs from which about 30 belong to a circuit of operational accounting, the others – to accounting, registration of personnel and financial and economic services are automated.

Customer Feedback on the Project

In Evrokhimservice company in March, 2009 the project on implementation of an end-to-end information system on a basis "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" is complete.

Evrokhimservice LLC (Veliky Novgorod) specializes in delivery of modern agricultural machinery, agrochemicals, means of protecting of plants and seeds from the leading foreign companies for domestic agricultural producers. The geography of sales of the enterprise constantly grows and covers the majority of areas of Northwest, Central, Volga and Southern federal districts for today.

Active development of the company led to what possibilities of the existing information system ceased to satisfy to requirements of the enterprise regarding accounting automation. Besides, there was a need for control automation by finance and management accounting. For the solution of these tasks the company management started the choice of the end-to-end information system combining possibilities of conducting operational, accounting and management accounting in a common information space.

Having analyzed the market of information systems, the company management stopped the choice on a flagship product of 1C Company - "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" which had the best ratio quality/price. Functionality of this system covered basic needs of the company in automation much.

Delivery of a system was provided by the St. Petersburg consulting and implementation company "Dialog Information Technologies". Despite some territorial remoteness, the companies managed to reach mutual understanding in short terms that was promoted in no small measure by the seminars on project management of implementation of information systems and financial subject which are regularly held by Dialog IT.

Because of the restructuring by company management which is taking place in group the decision to perform implementation by generally own forces as involvement of the third-party company in full in the conditions of permanent reorganization significantly increased the cost and project risks was made. After studying of the technologies of implementation offered by Dialog IT company the project team was created.

During the project of automation of Evrokhimservice company the following subsystems "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" are implemented:

At the initial stage of implementation the Software — Service company which staff provided substantial assistance at a data transfer stage from the old systems in the new database that significantly facilitated work of users was attracted. Besides, the staff of Software — Service company most precisely and quickly answered all questions arising in the course of implementation.

In total 50 jobs from which about 30 belong to a circuit of operational accounting, the others – to accounting, registration of personnel and financial and economic services are automated.

It should be noted that implementation took place within the standard configuration "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8", for this purpose internal business processes of the company partially were changed, for example, managers had CRM system tools and also process of operational management of money was significantly improved. Besides, completion of a system regarding logistics management of deliveries is planned further.

During 2009 implementation of a subsystem personnel management is also planned and the project on automation of consolidation of financial statements of group will be perhaps started.

As a result in Evrokhimservice company there was an end-to-end information system which is covering the main fields of operational, accounting and management accounting and completely meeting the requirements of the successful enterprise.
