2022: Implementation of facial recognition solution
On March 28, 2022, the Russian company RecFaces announced that it had implemented a project to introduce a biometric VxFaces solution with a seamlessly integrated plugin VideoXpert VMS at the office of the power machine building company Schneider Electric in Costa Rica. The main goal of implementing a software solution based on face recognition was to automate the control of employees at the entrance, as well as improve the level of security of the institution.
Schneider Electric is a global expert in power management, as well as a developer and supplier of comprehensive energy-efficient solutions for energy and infrastructure, industrial enterprises, civil and housing construction, as well as data centers. More than 155,000 employees of the company work in 100 countries. At the company's office in Costa Rica, it was necessary to provide assistance to the security service in organizing the process of monitoring and registering employees at the entrance.
To solve this problem biometric , a VxFaces from RecFaces product based on facial recognition was introduced, which allows you to make a record of employees entering the office, carry out identification identities and increase the speed of incident investigation. In addition, thanks to the decision of the VxFaces, the identification of visitors in was carried out, the masks observance of the mask regime was monitored and the level of physical security was improved by detecting persons from the stop list.
The biometric solution VxFaces with seamlessly integrated plugin VideoXpert VMS is a ready-made box solution. VxFaces captures all visitors, automatically storing all the data of passes and incidents, which allows you to generate a report at any time on the criteria of the incident of interest and quickly respond to it.
