Such large company as "Metso Mineralz" the quality of work is important to support and control the CIS. For this purpose the automated system for management and accounting solving several problems was necessary for the enterprise: conducting financial and economic activity according to the approved business process models, maintaining personnel, accounting and tax accounting and also formation of the corporate reporting. At the same time the information system should meet corporate standards so that each employee had access to strictly limited set of the transactions and data provided by the role appointed to it.

Systematization and business process automation of operational accounting became one of the most significant project deliverables. Earlier the management had no opportunity to check the transaction course, now sales process is strictly regulated that allows to have clear idea of responsible and all actions on each of orders of buyers and also to trace what changes were undergone by a chain of the related documents in the course of its lifecycle.
Implementation "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" optimized accounting work. Earlier the regulated reporting was prepared manually, now automation of this function minimizes quantity of errors and significantly saves time expenditure of accountants.
In an information system the corporate reporting is timely prepared.
For formation of the corporate reporting the transactions IFRS are added to a subsystem of accounting. Necessary data after the end of formation of the Russian accounting records are unloaded in the corresponding subsystem, then specialists process this information and reflect it in the corporate reporting.
The information system on 30 jobs conforms to corporate standards of Metso Mineralz SNG Ltd. As a result on a basis "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" the end-to-end information system which provides activity of key divisions within the set and approved business processes and allows to control a financial status of the company quickly is created.

In Metso Mineralz SNG Ltd "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" is complete implementation. Works were performed by Dialog Information Technologies company.
Metso Mineralz SNG Ltd is affiliated enterprise of the international machine-building concern Metso which head office is in Helsinki. The company is the Russian division of the Metso Mining & Construction Technology division proposing technological solutions to the industries performing extraction of minerals. The enterprise was formed in St. Petersburg in 1994, and today has divisions in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Stary Oskol, Peace (Yakutia), Gae (Orenburg region) and Petrozavodsk. Activity of the company can be separated into three main business processes: sale of the equipment, sale of spare parts and service maintenance of the equipment.
"Metso Mineralz of the CIS" - the large company, it is important to them to support control of the activity at appropriate level. For this purpose the enterprise needed implementation of an automated system - the complex tool for management and accounting which would provide the solution of several tasks: implementation of financial and economic activities according to the approved business process models, maintaining personnel, accounting and tax accounting and also formation of the corporate reporting according to accepted standards and rules, and besides in the short time set by corporation. At the same time the information system should meet corporate standards so that each employee had access to strictly limited set of the transactions and data provided by the role appointed to it.
According to the recommendation "1C: The northwest" for project implementation on implementation of an automated system the Dialog Information Technologies company was invited.
Considering features of activity of Metso Mineralz SNG Ltd and also requirements to future information system, specialists of Dialog IT offered two software products: "1C: Payroll and HR Management" for conducting personnel records and payroll, and "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" for automation of accounting, tax, operational accounting and formation of the corporate reporting.
After preproject inspection in May-June, 2009 the project of complex automation of Metso Mineralz SNG Ltd started in July, 2009 and was adopted by the customer at the developer to summer of 2010. 30 jobs are automated.

The requirements for separation of functional duties thanks to setup of the access rights defining areas of responsibility of employees are fulfilled.
