At the beginning of August, 2010 the Videoport company submitted the client application for mobile phone numbers of VZOmobile 1.4.0. The new version differs from the previous series of the client in 1.3.2 row of the improvements concerning settings of the camera, a window of video conferences, a chat, network and an application interface.

Now thanks to the client application a system completely supports operation of the camera on all devices of Samsung, including support of the front and back camera and position sensor of the screen. Support of cameras with the picture turned by 90 degrees is improved, the front camera is used by default for all devices, and the mobile client sends the video image in landscape orientation now.

Developers of Videoport also carried out large-scale works it is more convenient to make a window of video conferences in use:

• now the arrangement of controls is optimized under all existing types of screens including HTC 4G;
• support of position sensors is added. The layout changes depending on portrait or landscape provision of phone;
• the camera rotates in the presence of position sensors thanks to what the interlocutor receives adequate video regardless of phone provision;
• access to controls a conference (a sound and video) and the Begin a Chat button became more convenient;
• high-speed performance of the program is increased;
• the new design is developed.

Besides, thanks to VZOmobile 1.4.0. support of chats for smartphones is improved, and users had an opportunity to close unnecessary conversations. Also specialists of Videoport company improved a control interface of chat windows, work of the address directory and the mechanism of auto detection of the camera; besides, they saved users from annoying "blinking" of the screen when updating the statuses.

New developments concerned also network. Now the program runtime is optimized for use of network connections on GPRS/EDGE/WiFi.
