2022: Launch API for Remote Billing of Payments to Individual Cards

On March 28, 2022, Modulbank announced the launch of an API for remote fixation of payments from a settlement account to cards of individuals. The CarCraft service was the first client for whom the bank set up integration and installed a dedicated remote online cash desk.

CarCraft cooperates with car dealerships throughout Russia and makes payments to customers from whom salons buy cars with mileage or pay money after a commission sale. The car dealership, which accepts the car, must give its owner an expense fiscal check.

However, in car dealerships there are different cash registers, each has its own requirements for integration. To resolve this issue, Modulbank delivered a dedicated cloud cash desk in its data center, which serves all operations. It processes payments instantly and knocks out a check only if the payment is successful. Thus, the bank guarantees the uninterrupted operation of the cash desk, saving CarCraft and car dealerships from the need to install and configure additional equipment, as well as monitor the progress of payments.
