2022: Moving the Nomenclature Directory to the Cloud
On March 31, 2022, B2B-Center announced that it had normalized the Helikon inventory directory, developed an architecture and data management methodology, and provided cloud tools for self-management of NSIs.
Helikon is a supplier of equipment, reagents and consumables for research and medical laboratories. The company's regional offices are located in St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg and Vladivostok.
"Normalization of NSIs is a routine and very time-consuming process, requiring the concentrated work of specialists not only IT department. We already have a positive experience with clouds, and B2B-Center has expertise and infrastructure to launch and support changes in the management of NSIs. We did not come up with a complex scheme and took advantage of the ready solution, "- explained the choice of B2B-Center as an executor for the project Natalya Alekseeva, deputy director of the marketing department. |
B2B-Center specialists audited 105 thousand records of the product directory, determined the target volume for normalization, developed a corporate classifier and item item templates, cleared the directory of incomplete and duplicate items, and filled out the missing attributes. Acceptance and evaluation of the work was carried out in the Darwin system - the author's tool B2B-Center for collective management of projects for normalizing reference books.
As of March 31, 2022, all normalized Helikon data were transferred to the My NSI Directory cloud service at the B2B-Center site. It is integrated with the customer's 1C system, allows you to organize the work of many geographically distributed users, as well as independently maintain the correctness and integrity of records.
According to Andrey Boyko, commercial director of B2B-Center, despite the rapid development of technology, regulatory information still remains one of the sick places of many companies. Over the past few years, B2B-Center has built a whole ecosystem that knows how to work with data, uses machine learning and is constantly evolving. The trading platform provides customers with not only technological normalization tools, but also a unified environment for managing NSIs - from professional consulting to outsourcing projects and cloud services.
