Biography

2022: The FBI announced a $5 million reward for information on the location of Mogilevich

On April 6, 2022, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the US Department of State announced a reward of up to $5 million for information leading to the arrest of Semyon Mogilevich in the case of defrauding a thousand investors worth more than $150 million.

Semyon Mogilevich was charged with federal charges in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in 2002 and 2003. Charges against him include racketeering, securities fraud, mail fraud and money laundering. The indictments allege that between 1993 and 1998, Mogilevich headed and controlled the Mogilevich Enterprise. We are talking about an association consisting of many individuals and a network of companies in more than 20 different countries, which organized a complex scheme to defraud investors related to shares. The scheme was allegedly funded and authorized by Mogilevich. "Mogilevich Enterprise" was created for the illusion of a profitable international business.

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Department of Justice Criminal Division's Organized Crime and Gang Section (OCGS) are prosecuting the case. Semyon Mogilevich is described as a white man, height from 5 '6 "to 5' 7," weight 131 kg, balding, with gray hair and green eyes. Mogilevich was born on June 30, 1946 in Kiev, but also uses July 5, 1946 as a pseudonym date of birth. Mogilevich has Russian, Ukrainian and Israeli passports. It is assumed that as of April 2022 he lives in Moscow. Persons with information about Mogilev, which may be useful to investigators, are asked to contact the Federal Bureau of Investigation[1]
