On April 7, 2022, Korus Consulting Group of Companies announced that it was conducting a comprehensive automation project for the St. Petersburg Mill Plant. It is based on two Russian solutions: 1C: ERP Management of the Holding and an industry module for flour and cereal production. As a result of the project, all functional blocks will be automated, including production, inventory, finance, as well as budgeting and integrated planning processes. The system will support the development of the company and ensure transparency at all levels of the business.

Petersburg Mill Plant is an enterprise in the flour and cereal industry, represented on the market by brands: Clearly Sunshine, Flour Preportovaya, Aladushkin, Kudesnitsa and others. Production and laboratory are equipped with technological equipment, which allows to carry out quality control according to Russian and European standards at all stages: from the acceptance of raw materials to the shipment of finished products.

The company has a need to move to a flexible and scalable domestic enterprise management platform that will meet the requirements of a growing business. Korus Consulting, an IT company, was invited to develop a targeted IT architecture and roadmap for projects.

IT experts conducted a survey of the existing IT landscape and proposed several architecture options with a different set of solutions. Petersburg Mill Plant chose 1C: ERP Management Holding, the flagship solution from the Russian vendor, designed for digitalizations business at three levels at once: strategic, tactical and operational. Wide and integrated functionality allows you to manage assets production logistic create, plan, and monitor reports in a single environment, and operations. For budget automation, in terms of operational accounting of the movement of raw materials and finished products, the company chose the industry solution "."1C: Flour, cereal, feed and oil and fat management

The project is divided into four stages. As part of the first, IT specialists transferred the processes of operational, warehouse and production accounting to the current platform. Then they automate the financial circuit: the functions of the treasury and regulated accounting. As part of the third wave of the project, Korus Consulting implements integrated planning processes that include sales, product distribution, manufacturing, purchasing, and inventory management. And at the end, budgeting will be automated.
