2022: Charge of embezzlement of 1.5 million rubles in the form of an anesthesiologist's salary and "covid" payments
In April 2022, the prosecutor's office of the Tver region approved the indictment in a criminal case against the former chief physician of the City Clinical Hospital No. 6 of Tver. He is suspected of crimes under Part 4 of Article 160 (appropriation) and Part 3 of Article 159.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud when receiving payments).
According to the investigation, from November 2019 to May 2021, the former head physician, using his official position, ordered his subordinates to accrue, and then transfer to his bank account the salary for the work of an anesthesiologist-resuscitator. But the accused did not fulfill the duties of the anesthesiologist. So, the defendant managed to get more than 1.4 million rubles for work that he did not do.
According to the prosecutor's office of the Tver region, from November 2020 to March 2021, the man illegally received about 70 thousand rubles in the form of an insurance payment, which is allocated to doctors infected with coronavirus in contact with patients. The head physician did not contact anyone.
By April 2022, the property of the accused was seized. The indictment in the case will be sent to the Central District Court of Tver, where the materials will be considered on the merits.
The statement of the prosecutor's office does not give the name of the person involved in the case. According to the Tverigrad.ru portal, until May 2021, the post of head of the city hospital No. 6 was held by Vladimir Udalov, who, according to the Minister of Health of the region Sergei Kozlov, "made a lot of efforts to organize the work of the medical institution, including during the fight against COVID-19 and" showed himself as an active and professional leader with excellent organizational abilities[1]
