2022: A flying motorcycle is presented for $777 thousand.

On April 10, 2022, the Japanese company ALI Technologies introduced the Xturismo Limited Edition, a hoverbike capable of moving through the air.

The vehicle has a length of 3700 mm, a width of 2400 mm, and a flying motorcycle height of 1500 mm with a weight of 300 kg. Only one landing seat is provided in the hoverbike, while the maximum weight of the pilot should not exceed 100 kg. The device can be in the air for up to 40 minutes, and the maximum speed is 100 km/h. The price of the device is ¥77.7 million ($621 thousand).

ALI Technologies introduced the Xturismo Limited Edition - a hoverbike capable of moving through the air.

The ALI Technologies hoverbike is not designed to fly high into the air, but primarily to overcome inhospitable terrain. It is built as an enlarged drone with a traditional motorcycle seat and steering from above.

ALI Technologies President Daisuke Katano says that countries in the Middle East are showing great interest in him.

The need for such vehicles will be higher in places with desert or other difficult terrain. The vehicle will allow people to travel where the roads are bad and inaccessible to cars, as well as through reservoirs, he said.

The company chose the leading underwriters for the initial public offering of shares in Tokyo's Mothers market for startups, which will be the country's first debut of its kind. The company is in talks with the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Katano said, refusing to clarify the estimated value or timing of the stock offering.

A.L.I. Technologies has attracted investments from several prominent Japanese companies, including Sega Sammy Holdings Inc, Nagoya Railroad Co, Nakanihon Air Service Co, Kyocera Corp. and Mitsubishi Electric Corp. Football star Keisuke Honda, who played for the national team at the 2018 World Cup, is also an investor. Drones A.L.I. Technologies were the first to attract investors, but the startup is also developing opportunities in artificial intelligence and blockchain technology, said a spokesman for Nagoya Railroad.

There are growth expectations, so once such products hit the headlines, the company's shares can be bought up, receiving support from retail investors - said Tomoichiro Kubota, senior market analyst at Matsui Securities Co. But the company has not yet reached a level where people could talk about a detailed profit forecast, making it difficult to determine a suitable estimate figure.

A.L.I. Technologies will strive to value the "unicorn" - $1 billion or more - in the long term, Catano added. But the company has not yet decided how best to classify its vehicle, which will depend on discussions with local regulators where the product will be sold.

We think that our aircraft can be classified differently from existing aircraft, "said Catano. He does not travel on the ground, but still flies closer to the ground and at low altitudes[1]
