2022: Implementation of a set of technical tools for operational monitoring of the IB condition

On April 14, 2022, the State Unitary Enterprise "Fuel and Energy Complex of St. Petersburg" and "Ural Center for Security Systems" announced the completion of the project stage for the construction and implementation of a complex of technical means for operational monitoring of the state of information security (IS) and monitoring the state of a security automated process control system.

The purpose of the project is to increase the level of security of critical information infrastructure facilities (CII) of the Customer, as well as to bring the information infrastructure of the enterprise into compliance with the requirements of regulators and the Federal Law of 26.07.2017 No. 187-FZ "On Security of Critical Information Infrastructure of the Russian Federation."

The implementation of the project involved the implementation of key tasks: protection the creation of a technological process system at the facilities of the Research and Development Research Institute, the implementation of federal legislation in the field of information security, ensuring the continuity of technological processes, and obtaining time information real information on the level of protection. To ensure the security of objects, the DATAPK software and hardware system was introduced, as well as a centralized system for monitoring the state of information security. Solutions made it possible to optimize resources and build IT infrastructure taking into account the architectural characteristics and requirements of the Customer.

In parallel with the implementation of the IS monitoring system at critical information infrastructure facilities, the Customer was provided with methodological assistance and support regarding the categorization of CII facilities.

As a result, the CSS staff built a centralized system for monitoring the information security of CII facilities, as well as formulated recommendations for the construction of local area networks at the Customer's facilities.

Based on the results of this stage of the project, the specialists of USSC and PMT "Fuel and Energy Complex St. Petersburg" outlined further work plans and prepared a roadmap for improving the level of security of the Customer's critical IT infrastructure.
