Fujifilm signed a contract with the Pentagon for the supply of endoscopes for $405 million

On April 18, 2022, Fujifilm announced a five-year contract with the US Department of Defense to supply endoscopy equipment and train all US military hospitals and outpatient surgical centers.

The contract with the U.S. Department of Defense Logistics Agency for Troop Support also covers the Veterans Health Administration, the National Institutes of Health, the Indian Health Service, and other organizations. The announcement of contracts of the Ministry of Defense dated early February 2022 indicates the amount of the contract in the amount of $405 million.

The contract includes all of Fujifilm's endoscopic solutions portfolio. It includes standard, thin, curative and 700-series zoom colonoscopes that allow gastroenterologists to adapt the technology to the patient's anatomy and clinical needs.

Also provided is an Eluxeo endoscopic imaging system that has ultra-HD white, blue (BLI), and bound color (LCI) imaging modes.
