Sber and SberKorus: Designer of concession agreements

2022: Launch of "Concession Agreement Designer "

The digital platform for companies and individuals "SberKorus" and "Sber" launched the online service "Designer of concession agreements," which is designed to prepare the texts of concession agreements without the involvement of legal advisers.  This was announced on April 19, 2022 by SberCorus.

The designer helps to draw up a draft concession agreement on set conditions in the format required by banks to attract borrowed financing and in full compliance with the provisions of the Law "On Concession Agreements."

In the service, the user sequentially answers a set of questions about the project, automatically generates the necessary documentation for the concession agreement  and can quickly initiate a credit process.

The user will receive the finished package of documents in 2 hours, while time the work of lawyers from specialized companies takes from 2 months and costs the authors of projects in the amount of 1.5 million rub.

The cost of work in the "Concession Agreement Designer" from Sber and SberKorus is 350,000 rubles. (this amount includes access to the service for 3 months with the possibility of forming and downloading one concession agreement).

"In order to attract private investors to regional projects, it is necessary to speed up and facilitate the preparation of concession documents, increase the" bankability "of projects in order to obtain borrowed financing. To this end, we have developed a designer that has already been introduced in 10 industries and allows us to form a draft agreement with pre-approved conditions in the bank. We hope that this tool, along with our other decisions, will contribute to the growth of the number of quality concessions for the rapid development of infrastructure in the priority areas announced by the Government of the Russian Federation, " said Anna Baginskaya, head of the SberBank Public-Private Partnership Center.
