2022: Launch of the Advanta Project Management System
The project of implementation of the information system for project management ADVANTA in the Mercator Holding Group of Companies has started. Advanta announced this on April 26, 2022.
The company's strategic plans include the creation of a network of assembly sites in the regions in order to reduce logistics costs and further expand production. To do this, the company decided to implement a project approach and support production project management processes using an IT solution based on the ADVANTA platform.
As of April 2022, the holding introduces basic processes - the project register, portfolio, content and timing management, setting up status reports and escalating problems, monitoring instructions and project meetings. The next step is to configure the resource management loop.
The implementation of the system will reduce variances in project completion dates, improve productivity and speed of staff by keeping records and optimizing resource utilization within projects.
