2022: Summing up the competition for the modernization of engineering networks

On April 28, 2022, the head of the Moscow Department of Competition Policy, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations of the capital, Ivan Shcherbakov, announced the summing up of the competition for the modernization of the territory of the city clinical hospital (GKB) No. 23 named after I.V. Davydovsky. On an area of ​ ​ 27.9 thousand square meters, the winner will reconstruct engineering networks, adapt facilities to the needs of low-mobility citizens, and also improve the territory.

On the website of the unified information system in the field of procurement, an open competition was held to equip the territory of the Yauz City Hospital cultural heritage site, which houses the City Clinical Hospital No. 23 named after I.V. Davydovsky. The architectural ensemble has 13 historical objects of the XIX-XX centuries, seven of which belong to the city estate of Ivan Batashev.

"A number of cultural heritage sites house public spaces: museums, shops, banks and hotels, so it is important to adapt them to the needs of visitors, but without prejudice to the historical appearance. To do this, they update engineering communications and introduce smart electronics solutions: video surveillance, light sensors and much more. When identifying contractors at such facilities, special attention is paid to the qualifications of applicants and the availability of the necessary competencies, experience, licenses. Work on the territory of GKB No. 23 named after I.V. Davydovsky will require wide modernization and mandatory preservation of architectural monuments by engineers, technicians, surveyors, builders, electricians. The term of work under the concluded contract is one and a half years, " added Ivan Shcherbakov

Most of the work will affect the adaptation of the engineering systems of the territory and the facilities of the hospital complex. It is planned to dismantle, lay and rebuild external networks of electric, water and heat supply, household and rain sewers, install a medical gas supply system, which is intended for the production, storage, treatment and transportation of medical gases and vacuum.

Cable and fiber-optic communication lines will also be carried out, an external security video surveillance system will be installed. After the completion of engineering work, a comprehensive improvement of the territory and measures to ensure access to persons with disabilities are planned.

"Yauz Hospital is a unique architectural monument, one of the oldest clinics in Moscow. Since 2019, restorers have been working to preserve architectural monuments. Eight buildings and a fence have already been put in order. Work is underway in the main building. I note that the task is not only to preserve the historical appearance, but also to adapt the buildings to the needs of the hospital. Therefore, special attention will be paid to the modernization of engineering networks, " noted the head of the Moscow Department of Cultural Heritage of the city of Moscow Alexey Emelyanov

The main activity of the hospital is the provision of assistance to patients with cardiovascular pathology. Updating the engineering infrastructure of the complex and adapting the territory to the needs of patients will allow preserving historical buildings, but will make it possible to provide medical care, connect modern equipment, develop resuscitation and implantation capabilities for patients with acute myocardial infarction, coronary heart disease and other diseases.

"Major repairs are being completed in the medical buildings of the hospital, in particular the installation of relevant equipment. But it is equally important to work on the interconnection of external engineering networks and internal engineering systems of buildings, landscape and other works. All these efforts to modernize the hospital make it possible to conduct treatment at the level of the best world standards, " added the chief physician of the I.V.
