History

2022: Sergey Galitsky's withdrawal from co-owners

In April 2022, the ex-owner of Magnit Sergey Galitsky sold his entire stake in the investment company SN-Capital, which he founded in 2018. It is assumed that this decision could be the result of financial problems faced by the entrepreneur.

According to RBC with reference to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, on March 2, 2022, Sergei Galitsky's share in the authorized capital of SN-Capital decreased from 100% to 39%. Artem Bubnov and the general director of the Krasnodar football club Vladimir Hashig received 21% each. The owner of the remaining 19% was Dmitry Chizhevsky, who holds the position of general director of SN Capital.

Then, on April 18, 2022, Maxim Varaksin and Aram Fundukyan joined the founders with shares of 19.5%. They are also co-owners of Investstroy LLC Sergey Galitsky. Thus, Galitsky himself dropped out of the number of co-owners of the investment fund. Initially, the businessman was the sole owner of the company.

In April 2022, Forbes published another rating of the richest people on the planet. Galitsky's condition was estimated at $3.2 billion, this is the 951st place in the world. It turned out that over the year the Krasnodar businessman lost about $300 million.

According to RBC, in 2022, Sergey Galitsky was in a difficult financial situation due to the blocking of bank accounts in Europe. However, this information was not officially confirmed. The founder of the Magnit network and the owner of FC Krasnodar were not included in any of the sanctions lists.[1]
