2022: Termination

The German chemical and industrial company Henkel ceases operations in Belarus, according to a sales report in the first quarter of 2022, distributed by the company on April 29, 2022.

The company noted that the decision was made, "despite the overall very good sales performance of Henkel in the first quarter.

They added that "the general economic situation has continued to deteriorate sharply since the beginning of the year" - the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic with an extremely tense situation in the raw materials markets and supply chains have obviously intensified due to events around Ukraine. The assortment for April 2022 has more than 100 items, including finished lining systems, thermal insulation and facade decoration, floor and waterproofing systems, materials for preparing surfaces for decoration, sealants, installation foam, "liquid nails," plaster. In mid-April, Henkel announced the suspension of activities in Russia[1].
