In Novosibirsk, a comprehensive digital public transport management system began to work, which was developed by Datapax, which announced this on May 4, 2022. Fare payment services are implemented by SberTroika LLC with the participation of Sberbank PJSC.

At the first stage of the project, bus route No. 5 took part. The vehicle was equipped with high-precision sensors for monitoring passenger traffic, information media panels that broadcast shuttle and entertainment content for passengers. Validators were installed on the bus for cashless payment of travel with a bank card or Troika transport card.

Residents of the city will be able to test mobile application Novosibirsk Transport, which is available for download Google Play in and. In the mobile App Store application you can see the schedule, lay a convenient route, track the traffic on the transport map in real time, find out the predicted time of arrival of the bus at the desired stop and pay for the fare.

Passenger transport is inextricably connected with digital services. And our task is to demonstrate comprehensive digital solutions to the Novosibirsk administration and introduce residents to convenient services for planning and making a trip in public transport, "said Maxim Isaev, Deputy General Director of Datapax.

In Novosibirsk, the implementation of the national project "Safe quality roads" is actively underway. As part of the program, the city is repairing and building new roads, as well as updating the fleet of vehicles. So, at the end of 2021, 50 new buses with a small capacity entered the routes, and at the beginning of 2022, the Gorozhanin electric bus began to be tested in the city. The introduction of the digital platform will be another step towards the modernization of the transport system of Novosibirsk and will help increase passenger mobility.

A comprehensive digital system will collect and analyze all the data that will allow you to effectively manage the city's transport system: adjust routes, create a convenient schedule, monitor transport work, collect revenue and stowaway passes. Based on the results of the pilot project, it will be possible to evaluate and form a further program for the development of digital services for urban passenger transport in Novosibirsk.
