Modulbank confirms compliance with PCI DSS Level 1 security standards

Modulbank May 11, 2022 announced the regular audit and confirmation of compliance with the safety standard data adopted in the industry (payment cards PCI DSS). The standard is developed by international payment systems Visa MasterCard and is required for processing plastic card data. He confirms that during transactions, customers' money is securely protected.

To obtain certification, it is necessary to build a safe infrastructure and undergo an annual audit, which goes to 12 areas and 300 points. Verification is carried out by a special company with the status of Qualified Security Assessor, which is confirmed by the PCI SSC Board.

Among the areas, for example, are such as network protection, protection of stored as well as transmitted data about cardholders, anti-virus protection of the information infrastructure, authentication mechanisms and others.

Modulbank passed the test, at the beginning of May 2022, the auditor is preparing a certificate that the processes in the bank comply with the PCI DSS Level 1 standard.
