2018: Implementation of the Vitro-CAD system
At the time of the start of the project to implement the Vitro-CAD system in the company, more than 500 designers were developing design and working documentation for more than 50 objects.
Approval of documentation and issuance of comments took place in paper format. When accepting the paper version in the archive, the procedure was performed for assigning and manually applying the inventory number, forming a scan copy and placing it in the electronic archive.
The archive was located behind the Moscow Ring Road, additional time was required to deliver the documentation. The problem was further exacerbated by the increase in the number of branches and remote staff.
Automation prerequisites:
- Opaque document negotiation procedure.
- The average duration of the negotiation procedure is 7 working days.
- Increase in design volumes.
- No fixation of the fact and history of coordination.
- Increase the cost of finding documentation and monitoring its availability. According to the Customer's estimates, the cost of finding documentation was about 5 million rubles per year.
Solution Implementation Objectives:

Business Benefits:
- A legally significant electronic archive of technical documentation has been organized.
- A unified database of facts and the history of coordination of project and working documentation has been organized.
- The speed of signing and approval of technical documentation has been increased by 7 times.
