The 3D Scan Credo program allows you to automate the process of processing data from photogrammetric and laser point clouds for creating a digital model of terrain, evaluating roads, creating a model of road infrastructure and traffic management tools, obtaining a model of open mine workings and rock dumps (materials), processing a cloud of points of underground mine workings and closed spaces.
2022: Credo 3D Scan 1.7 with the ability to work on Astra Linux OS
Updated version of CREDO 3D SCAN 1.7. This was announced on May 18, 2022 by the developer Credo.
This version provides work on OCAstra Linux.
All users of the previous version with a registered Subscription can get this for free.
General modifications:
- 3D visibility filter - now you can separately disable point names and elevations through the filter, now they are in separate terms;
- Optimized text rendering in 3D (reduced RAM usage due to optimized textures);
- Information about the installed relief model has been added to the status bar;
- Added functionality in the Project Tree window with height matrices and screens in the Fragments tab;
- The functionality of the Geodetic Library has been improved, the ability to export several selected elements from the Geodetic Library or a selected folder has been added;
- Improved scenario of adding web maps to the project;
- Added the ability to import and create 3D triangulation meshes.
Road functionality:
- Added the element Group of signs for visualization in the Plan and export to the draft CREDO ROAD TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT;
- In the 3D-view graphics window, recognized and applied road signs are displayed with a texture depicting the type of sign;
- Added a preview of parameters for the scenarios for calculating rut, shoulder, edge recognition, marking;
- Revised and optimized algorithms for recognizing borders and edges, finding the profile of the border;
- Added a scenario for creating multiple lines at the same time in the Dynamic 3D Transverse graphics window;
- Adds a height grid in the Dynamic 3D Cross graphics window.
- For the road alignment, visualization of the station has been added with the display of the current position in the Dynamic 3D Cross, Plan and 3D View windows, with the ability to export the route with station in TopoXML and DXF formats;
- The ability to sign an arbitrary road alignment station through the object signature command.
Creating MMM:
- Added the ability to work with the classifier of the current version of CREDO III programs;
- Added the ability to move a line segment when editing a linear thematic object (LTO);
- The breakline settings have appeared in the project properties. You can now choose which codes or values are used in surface construction and which linear thematic objects are exported with breaklines;
- Improved functionality to import surface from TopoXML/DXF;
- It became possible to create surfaces in different layers;
- It is possible to create a surface based on these layers: setting the layer with points and with breaklines;
- In the properties information window, after you draw a surface, you can view the surface area on the plane and the 3D surface area.
Working in 3D:
- Added a stack of camera positions in the 3D view graphics window;
- Improved navigation mode: limited the ability to accidentally move the camera over a long distance from the point cloud;
- Added display of coordinate axes in 3D;
- Gizmo transformations: the exact change of parameters is added;
- The ability to enter dx, dy values has been added to the movement mode.
Point Clouds:
- BLH mode has been added to import according to the point template and point clouds;
- You can resize the point cloud import window;
- It became possible to interactively modify the cloud through specifying a cluster;
- Automatic positioning of LTA by cloud points and given section (arbitrary section, circle with given radius) is implemented;
- Improved the ability to read the Reflection Number parameter in the point cloud, visualization and accounting in algorithms appeared;
- It became possible to perform preliminary calculation of algorithms with the possibility of cancellation, which increases the performance of commands;
- The option "add to visibility block" based on the results of algorithms calculation has been added to the parameters of point cloud processing commands;
- Implemented tree view of algorithm parameters in interactives;
- Added the command Delete data from the point structure, with the ability to add to user algorithms;
- The Change Layers command has been added;
- Modified Modify Points Along Geometry. You can now select a portion of the point cloud along a linear object by specifying the right-left and up-down distances;
- Added gradient setting with color assignment by height;
- The transformation of point clouds by relative reference points has been improved;
- Automatically apply datum points to the cloud by height;
- Reading CHC panoramas: a new format has been added, no rigid directory structure with photos is required.
