2022: Accelerated Managed Kubernetes Service

The company DataLine May 18, 2022 announced the acceleration of the Managed Kubernetes service.

Now the solution is based on a convergent architecture, and in the updated self-service panel you can create a cluster in 120 seconds

The basis of this service is a converged architecture: for storage, not separate storage systems, but local drives of servers are used. The storage available to all cluster members is based on All-Flash technology - using only SSD drives.

Updated converged storage delivers even better performance for Kubernetes clusters - I/O per second (IOPS) increased by 124% and reduced minimum data access time. At the same time, the service architecture also provides fault tolerance by completely duplicating the data of virtual machines on neighboring servers of the cluster.

Together with the updated architecture, another self-service panel will be available to customers of the service. With it, users can create a Kubernetes cluster with the necessary parameters in two steps, and the deployment time will be no more than 120 seconds. The panel allows you to delete and re-create clusters, change their configuration, group them into groups, and track the disposal of resources at different sites.
