Trinities Service Engineers conducted an audit of the technical condition of IT equipment Sheraton Moscow Sheremetyevo Hotels and provided a comprehensive assessment of the condition equipment, as well as prepared recommendations for further operation and service support in the context of the sanctions policy. This became known in May 2022.

The server hotel has six HP ProLiant servers that serve IT infrastructure of the hotel complex. Equipment with significant mileage, year release of all platforms 2013. In the conditions of withdrawal from the Russian market of some Western vendors, hotel management decided to conduct an external assessment of the technical state of its equipment and develop a plan for further support of the equipment in order to eliminate risks associated with possible failures in its operation.

Our technician confirmed his readiness to provide access to technical logs of systems (BIOS, IPMI, Windows) under his control. On the appointed day, two engineers of the Trinities service department left for the site Customer for audit. During the audit, the composition of the server was recorded equipment by major components that may require replacement in the event of a failure (disks, RAID controllers and controller cache batteries, network controllers and HBAs, RAM, processors).

For each server, initial general information about equipment was supplemented with information about components - type, quantity, model. And most importantly, the system logs were analyzed for hardware errors and warnings. The status of the server indication was also checked for the presence of errors. The results were recorded.

The audit revealed that the equipment was in good condition, serious and no critical errors were found, only some remarks noted. In general, engineers had a general positive impression of the operating conditions and maintenance of this equipment. From experience with other customers to face more complex cases where operating personnel allow or do not detect existing problems in the operation of equipment. Then operational reaction to prevent IT equipment failures from affecting the customer's business processes.

An audit at the Sheraton Hotel resulted in a detailed report with the data collected and comments, as well as options for further technical support from the Trinities Company. Trinities engineers are ready to form a list of spares and include them in the technical support package.
