In the main building of MGUTU named after K.G. Razumovsky, a proctoring class opened, where students will now be watched not by a teacher, but by a technological camera with artificial intelligence. The company VisionLabs announced this on May 25, 2022.

This proctoring class appeared with the support of Sberbank PJSC.

The university cooperates with Sberbank of Moscow in many areas. As a socially responsible bank, Sber presented a computer class equipped with an identification system and the ability to monitor your examination in a remote form. Thus, there will be no opportunity to replace the student, pass the exam for someone else or write off, look somewhere, use the consultation, said Sergey Chebotarev.

We installed equipment here that optimizes the educational process. We ourselves at Sberbank are constantly studying, passing exams. And this system has already been tested on itself, it disciplines. This is primarily an opportunity to control your knowledge, noted Larisa Bolotina.

A proctoring audience is a computer class with the ability to monitor and control a remote exam or testing. Technology based on computer vision was developed by domestic companies VisionLabs and Examus.

Automatic identification is carried out as follows: the student creates an account in the system for online passing the LUNA EXAM exams, where he enters his email, downloads a passport scan and is photographed on a webcam. The system reads the passport data and compares the photo just taken with the image in the passport. If they match, then the registration was successful.

After that, identification when passing the exam is as simplified as possible: you only need to enter your mail in the system and look into the webcam - the system will automatically compare the face in the frame with the student's photo from the existing base. And such verification goes on throughout the exam.

At the same time, it is impossible to deceive the system: you should only try to show someone else's photo to the program or change the person in the frame, access is blocked.
