Kotarev Vyacheslav Ivanovich

Was born on July 21, 1960 on the farm of Zmeevka, the Stary Oskol district, the Belgorod region From 1967 to 1977 studied at Shatalovsky high school of the Stary Oskol district of the Belgorod region.

After leaving school entered technical training college No. 10 of the city of Voronezh which finished with honors, having received the 3rd category of the machine assembler and till May, 1979 worked at Voronezh Mechanical Plant. From 1979 to 1981 underwent conscription service in the ranks of the Soviet Army.

In 1981 entered the Voronezh agricultural institute on zooengineering faculty which finished in 1986. From 1986 to 1989 worked as the shop manager of livestock production in collective farm Red October of the Nizhnedevitsky region of the Voronezh region.

From 1989 to 1990 was the research associate of department of livestock production of Experimental station of VSHI. From 1990 to 1994 worked as the assistant at department of cultivation of farm animals, in November, 1994 the academic degree of the candidate of agricultural sciences is awarded.

Since 1994 - the senior teacher, from 1996 to 2002 - the associate professor, and in January, 1997 the academic status of the associate professor on department of cultivation of farm animals is given. From 2000 to 2005 worked as the dean of zooengineering faculty (in 2002 transformed to faculty of technology of livestock production and merchandizing).

Since 2001 and till present I am the head of the department of private zootechnics and merchandizing. In April, 2002 the academic degree of the doctor of agricultural sciences is awarded, in May, 2004 the academic status of professor of department of private zootechnics and merchandizing is given. Since March, 2005 it is appointed to the position of the vice rector for study of Voronezh State Agricultural University of K.D. Glinka.

Now rector of VSAU.

During operating time it is published: scientific works – 131, educational and methodical works – 31, prepared 11 candidates of science, took out 1 patent. Hobbies: books, music, beekeeping, sport.
