2022: IT Infrastructure Upgrades

AvtoVAZ is modernizing its IT infrastructure using VK cloud technologies, as the latter announced on May 31, 2022.

The updated IT architecture will help AvtoVAZ efficiently process and analyze large amounts of data in all key business processes. In the future, this will reduce the time to launch new cars on the market and expand the range of client services.

Sharing private and public oblakaVK Cloud Solutions - one of stages of modernization of IT infrastructure of AVTOVAZ. The automaker will move the main array of data to the secure public cloud, and most critical systems for managing production will be concentrated in the private cloud. This approach will provide a comprehensive strategy for working with the company's data and increase the efficiency and security of business processes.

A single cloud storage, Data Lake, is also being created in the public cloud. Thanks to him, AvtoVAZ specialists will no longer have to collect statistics from disparate IT systems: storage volumes are not limited. All divisions of the company will have access to analytics. They will be able to collect and process data at any stage of work and quickly optimize processes: for example, monitor supply chains, improve production quality or predict the timing of car maintenance. As a result, customers will receive a better product and timely service.

For the company's Information Systems Directorate, moving to the cloud will make it easier to support systems and scale computing capacity. Firstly, in the cloud, the databases that AvtoVAZ uses are available according to the service model - you can deploy additional resources in one click. At the same time, developers and administrators do not need to manually configure and maintain the infrastructure of platform solutions - these tasks remain on the side of the VK Cloud Solutions team. Secondly, if necessary, it will be possible to increase the number of resources almost instantly. This will allow you to refuse to purchase, install and configure additional equipment.

In a situation where the speed of data-based decision-making depends on the competitiveness of companies, we need direct and convenient access to information in real time. Cloud technologies and their data warehouses provide this opportunity. The trend for digitalization is constantly growing, so we are already radically changing the approach to working with the masses of information in the company. We pay special attention to information security issues, and it is important for us that the private cloud of VK Cloud Solutions meets all standards and requirements, has a high degree of protection, "said Maxim Motin, acting Director of Information Systems of AvtoVAZ.

The combination of private and public cloud is optimal for the purpose of production companies, provides a high level of security and reliability of the IT infrastructure. It allows you to build the most flexible infrastructure where local systems are adapted to the cloud environment and used to store business-critical information, and the public cloud provides access to the most current tools, "said Leonid Anikin, Development Director of VK Digital Technologies.
