PicoSure Pro (laser system for removal of wrinkles, scars and eels)

In early June 2022, Cynosure announced the release of the PicoSure Pro, which is positioned as the world's first picosecond laser to remove wrinkles, scars and eels. The machine delivers energy in one trillionth of a second, using pressure instead of heat to provide safe and effective treatment for unwanted pigmentation and skin revitalization for all skin types.

According to the manufacturer's statement, the system received an improved Platinum Focus lens matrix to increase collagen and elastin, which helps combat wrinkles, acne scars and pores. With the addition of a flat lens, according to the developers, the PicoSure Pro is the first and only picosecond laser approved by the FDA to treat pigment in melasma and other hyperpigmentation problems such as Nevus Ota and Nevus Hori.
