Office of Registry Office and Archives of Lipetsk Region

The Office of Civil Registration and Archives of the Lipetsk Region is the branch executive body of state power of the Lipetsk Region. The main activities of the Office:

• Carries out regional state control over compliance with the legislation on archival businesses in the region;
• Organizes maintenance of the regional automated civil registration system and maintenance of the database of documents of the Archive Fund of the Russian Federation;
• Conducts an examination of the value of archival documents for their inclusion in the Archive Fund of the Russian Federation;
• Solves, in accordance with the established procedure, the issues of transferring archival documents owned by the region to the ownership of the Russian Federation, other constituent entities of the Russian Federation and municipalities;
• Keeps records of archival documents and archival funds in the state archives of the region, museums and libraries of the region, state authorities of the region, executive bodies of state power of the region, state bodies of the region, state unitary enterprises and institutions of the region and submits information on registration to the Federal Archival Agency in the prescribed manner;
• Monitors the use and storage of forms of certificates of state registration of civil status acts and books of state registration of civil status acts (act books);
• Provides organizational and methodological assistance to local governments in the exercise of transferred state powers on the formation and activities of civil registration bodies, state registration of civil status acts and on the exercise of powers in the field of archival businesses;
• Monitors the implementation by local authorities of the transferred state powers for the education and activities of civil registration bodies, state registration of civil status acts and in the field of archival businesses;
• Within its competence, ensures the protection of information constituting a state secret;
• Maintains statistical reporting.

2021

The registry office of the Lipetsk region for 12 months of 2021 compiled 46,504 act records. Of these, about birth - 9064, about death - 23650; on marriage - 6737; on divorce - 5171, on adoption - 60; on the establishment of paternity - 1329, on the change of name - 493. Specialists of the regional registry office performed 106768 other legally significant actions, put 409 "apostille" stamps.

In the implementation of international legal assistance in terms of registration of acts of civil status for 12 months of 2021, the registry office of the Lipetsk region executed 494 requests (instructions) for the collection of personal documents (certificates), of which 283 through the registry office and archives.
