2022: Implementation of "1C: ERP + PM Project Organization Management 2"

An automated project management system has been introduced in RTSoft Group of Companies. During the project, RTSoft Group made a large-scale one-stage transition for all processes, management tasks and the planning, budgeting and reporting framework from the 1C: Project Organization Management 1.3 software product to the 1C: ERP + PM Project Organization Management 2 software product. This was announced by ITLand on June 20, 2022.

The transition to 1C: ERP + PM Project Organization Management 2 was necessary due to the completion of 1C: Project Organization Management 1.3 support, the expansion of process automation capabilities and the revision of the information system architecture to increase its reliability, productivity and potential for growth and scale.

Implementation of an automated project management system based on "1C: ERP + PM Project Organization Management 2" had the following objectives:

  • Switch from the Microsoft Project 2010 Project Management solution implemented in the company]] to the 1C: ERP + PM Project Organization Management 2 solution.
  • Complex transition from the software product "1C: Project Organization Management 1.3" to "1C: ERP + PM Project Organization Management 2."
  • Review and automate the budgeting process, consolidate data by group of companies, solve the holding's problems.
  • Managing profits, building a cross-cutting system from labor management through project budgeting to the organization's revenue and expenditure budget.
  • Optimization of work on payroll calculation, preparation and submission of reports - transition from an outdated mechanism to a fundamentally different 1S:UPP, implemented in 1C:ERP.

During the project, the subsystem was simultaneously implemented ERP in six organizations that are part of the RTSoft group of companies with different types of business and system. taxation At the same time, the costs of maintenance are unified and thus reduced and the transparency and manageability of the business is increased: unified process chains, unified management technology, unified regulatory reference information, unified accounting and planning methodology.

The following project management functionality has been implemented and automated:

  • Project Portfolio Management - Project Pool Execution Monitoring, Project Execution Timelines, Deviation from Targets, Forecast of Project Revenue and Margin Income and Inclusion Thereof by Scenario in the Budgeting Module in Forecast Revenue and Margin Income by Period for Group Organizations and in the Consolidated Group Budget.
  • Management of labor resources (own and engaged) for projects.
  • Management of labor resources loading - planning of necessary labor resources for 2023, by roles (competencies) and full name according to different scenarios for concluding transactions (projects).
  • Management of project budgets - automatic recalculation of labor costs to the item of payroll and insurance premiums, maintenance of MDD and BDDS of projects in the information system - approved plan, current plan (forecast), actual.

Within the framework of the project, 90 workplaces were automated, the main users of the system: project management department and heads of engineering divisions, financial and economic service, accounting, treasury, human resources department, procurement and logistics service, administrative and economic department, incoming control department.
