2022: Implementation of Radiologist Decision Support Platform

Intellojik has introduced a decision support platform for radiologists in the Open Clinic network of medical centers. The size of the grant for the project amounted to 51.8 million rubles. This became known on June 21, 2022.

AI technologies were able to integrate into the processes of analyzing X-ray studies, set up a comprehensive system for the remote description of medical images. This made it possible to automate the routine steps of radiologists, quickly monitor the risks of the development of the disease, exchange diagnostic images between all participants in the medical and diagnostic process.

The platform combined five medical centers of the network, helped to improve the quality of diagnostics and find a solution to one of the most acute problems that arose during the pandemic: the lack of medical specialists in remote regions of the country.

The solution is aimed, among other things, at eliminating a number of global problems and combating the corresponding socio-economic effects. This concerns the problems of medical personnel - a lack of highly qualified specialists and an excessive burden on existing medical personnel, as well as insufficient quality of medical services: missing pathologies, a long process of forming X-ray conclusions, said Sergey Sorokin, CEO of Intellozhik (Botkin.AI).

During the pilot and industrial operation, the following was processed:

• 1,236 thoracic CT scans for malignant neoplasms
• 854 CT examinations of the OGK to search for the pathology of COVID-19;
• 68 mammograms to search for MRV;
• 799 X-ray of OGK.

The results of the processed 2,158 studies are sent to the servers Open Clinic Medical Center PACS networks and PACS servers, Botkin.AI and are also available from the medical information system (). MIES Robomed
