2022: Launch of taxi aggregator

On June 24, 2022, it became known about the launch in Russia of the new SwiftDrive taxi aggregator. One of the founders of the service is Stanislav Yastrzhembsky, the son of ex-assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Sergei Yastrzhembsky.

The new service will first start working with clients in the corporate sales segment, then it will enter the consumer market, Stanislav Yastrzhembsky told Izvestia.

Working with a taxi aggregator, the user will be able to choose the parameters himself when placing an order: faster, cheaper, etc. One of the partners will be able to fulfill the order at SwiftDrive in case there are no free drivers for any reason, Yastrzhembsky noted.

By the end of June 2022, more than 30 million rubles were invested in the project. Investments will continue as the service develops and scales. The volume of investments before reaching the return will be up to 150 million rubles. Some of this amount has already been spent, said Stanislav Yastrzhembsky. He explained: the service concludes contracts with taxi companies, the costs go to IT and platform development, as well as to the maintenance of a team of programmers, designers, etc.

By June 24, 2022, SwiftDrive signed a cooperation agreement with the largest players on the market, such as Yandex Taxi, and is also a partner of Citymobil.

The new taxi aggregator expects to occupy about 12-15% of the Russian market.

We are positive about the emergence of new players in the taxi market. Our service has always advocated fair business and healthy competition. The dominant position of one player and the monopolization of the taxi market would have a detrimental effect on drivers, customers and pricing of the industry as a whole, "commented Igor Rudziy, head of People & People (managed by Citymobil[1]
