On June 24, 2022, Conteq announced that it had developed an information system for planning and monitoring the implementation of projects for ANO RSI. The implementation of the ISUP allowed the company to organize effective interaction and streamlining of information exchange processes between all participants in the implementation of projects.

According to the company, at the time of implementation, the company used the Microsoft Project Professional desktop client application for project management, which did not solve the problem of automatic tracking of deadlines by project stages. In addition, there was a need to automatically generate analytical reports on project execution based on data from project schedules in order to move away from manually compiling these reports. Conteq was chosen to solve these tasks for the development of updated functionality for project control and management.

The Conteq team conducted a survey of existing IT functionality in project management processes and proposed the implementation of the tasks using the project management system based on Microsoft Project Server. This solution is designed to automate project management and KPIs throughout the project lifecycle.

The functionality of the system ensured the consolidation of all information on projects in a single space, as well as the ability to track the status of projects through a system of indicators. In addition, in this solution, it became possible to distinguish between access to information for various users, as well as the formation of analytical reports on monitoring and controlling the implementation of objects in an automated mode.

The information system was deployed by Conteq specialists on the basis of the leased infrastructure (software and hardware complex) in. Russian DPC This made it possible to quickly implement the launch of the system.

The project was divided into two stages:

  • As part of the first stage, a project management system based on Microsoft Project Server was introduced. Information on projects was migrated to the system from local sources, including current at the time of loading calendars and networks and data entered into project cards. Setting up an access role model helped those responsible adjust the ability to view and edit project information for other employees. To manage these projects, IT specialists at Conteq have developed a single project schedule template containing a basic list of tasks and checkpoints. Also, to organize work with project risks, a special page was introduced into the system, designed for registration, maintenance, storage, monitoring and risk management.
  • As part of the second stage, the formation of analytical reporting was automated, as well as the possibility of creating regular reports on the status of projects based on the coding of network tasks. Reports are generated based on information from DB Microsoft Project Server and data from. files Excel Conteq specialists from the department Business Intelligence have set up visual analytical on the dashboards basis to Microsoft Power BI clearly display the status of process execution. The entire interface of the system was designed in accordance with the corporate style of the company, which allowed employees to easily adapt to the updated functionality.

Upon completion of the implementation and configuration of the project management system, employees from the RSI ANO underwent training organized by Conteq specialists on working in the system and got acquainted with the full functionality of the system.

The transition to a project management information system based on Microsoft Project Server will allow ANO RSI to optimize the effectiveness of project management. Consolidation of all projects in a single space, a system of indicators, as well as work with control points, quality control and reliability of data on the progress of implementation and achievement of the end goals of projects.

The implemented ISUP made it possible to automate the processes of planning and monitoring the implementation of projects of the RSI ANO, namely: it provided a single information space for project participants, ensured the convenience of communications between participants, provided access to complete information on the projects being implemented. The use of the project management system ensured the optimization of the collection of information on project activities in a formalized electronic form, its aggregation and analysis, reducing the complexity of reporting and project control processes.
