History
2020
The Abrau-Durso Group of Companies announces the purchase of viticultural and winemaking assets of the Yubileinaya farm in the Krasnodar Territory. According to the results of the transaction, the total area of vineyards of the Abrau-Durso Group of Companies will be 6.5 thousand hectares, of which 3.3 thousand hectares are fruit-bearing vineyards. In connection with the adoption of the law "On Viticulture and Winemaking in the Russian Federation," Abrau-Durso Group of Companies, the leader in the Russian sparkling wine market, decided to switch to the production of all product lines from Russian grapes. To achieve this goal, it was necessary to increase the area of its own fruit-bearing vineyards, thereby closing the need for imported wine material with domestic raw materials. The purchase of viticultural and winemaking assets of the Yubileinaya farm has become a natural and important step that opens up new opportunities for the development of the Abrau-Durso Group of Companies. Negotiations on the change of ownership of Yubileinaya began in early 2020. The agreement between the parties was reached quickly, but in connection with the bankruptcy procedure, the process was accompanied by additional stages, including the settlement of debt repayment to creditors. At the moment, the farm has been completely withdrawn from bankruptcy and has begun full-fledged activities. Wine material obtained from the acquired farm is planned to be used for the production of certain categories of sparkling and quiet wines of the Abrau-Durso Group of Companies. The harvested grapes will be processed at the Yubileinaya winery, after which the resulting wine material will go to the Abrau-Durso enterprises for further aging and bottling. At the moment, Yubileinaya has technical capabilities for primary processing of up to 40 million liters per year. Its capacity fleet exceeds 30 million liters. Bottling capacity is more than 25 million bottles of still and sparkling wines per year.
2019
