2022: Automation of production and financial accounting processes

The Pruzhina Research and Production Center (SPC Pruzhina, part of the UWC holding) has completed a project for comprehensive automation of production and financial accounting processes based on the Russian software product 1C:ERP. This was announced on July 5, 2022 by the United Wagon Company.

1C:ERP versions 2.5 - a tool to improve the efficiency of the enterprise by building end-to-end business processes ones in a single information system. Thanks to the 1C:ERP in the SPC "Pruzhina," key production and financial processes have been automated, in particular, the mechanism of complete and continuous traceability of raw materials and products has been established, inventories have been optimized, quality control of finished products has been strengthened, and the process of collecting received information from all departments has been simplified.

Thus, the use of a system of unique identifiers made it possible to eliminate the problem of excess inventories and create a basis for effective control of the processes of procurement of raw materials, production and shipment of finished products. The result of the automation of procurement and warehouse management was a significant reduction in the complexity of order fulfillment analysis.

Specialized interfaces have been created directly in the workshops to reflect the results of online production operations. The communication of the IT system with the production equipment was configured to ensure its correct operation and receive signals about problems.

During the implementation of the 1C:ERP, subsystems of incoming, laboratory, production and metrological control, acceptance tests of products were also developed. This made it possible to link quality control procedures and production processes into a single automated chain.

Building the relationship between data operational and regulated accounting allows the formation of analytical reports with the required degree of detail.

The need to introduce a unified integration system for all departments has long been ripe. Prior to that, the plant used various specialized information systems, Excel tables that were not related in any way. This complicated the planning and production processes, shifted the focus of control. And with the help of 1C:ERP, in the first months of work, we managed to feel positive changes. Transaction costs have been reduced, the interaction of departments has become more convenient and transparent. I am sure that the volume of such changes will only grow,

Digitalization and comprehensive process automation are a prerequisite for the successful development of a production enterprise. The 1C:ERP implementation process took 12 months. This is a fairly short time for a project of this scale. As a result, the implemented system ensured end-to-end automation of processes from production and procurement planning to sales of finished products, including operational production and warehouse accounting, quality control. In addition, the processes of repair and maintenance of equipment, asset accounting, pricing and much more are automated. As a result of the implementation of the 1C:ERP, we expect to increase the efficiency indicators of the Pruzhina SPC,
