The Yunilever-Russia company completed migration of corporate data and the system of analytics

BI Partner completed the project of transfer of a corporate analytical system of Yunilever-Russia company from the BusinessObjects 6 platform on SAP BusinessObjects XI R3.

Previously

Eventually scales of a system and its value for business of the company, demanded more perfect management tools and level of support. For the solution of these tasks the project of migration on SAP BusinessObjects XI R3 is executed.

The project of upgrade of a system of the analytical reporting in Yunilever-Russia company is begun in August, 2010.

Results

Transition to a new software version made process of administration of a system of the customer much simpler and more convenient.

In a work progress audit of the existing logical data model and reports is carried out, a system is expanded. In a work progress outdated objects of a system are deleted, a number of elements is transferred to archive, and the rest is postponed for the new version of SAP BusinessObjects. The total quantity of universe in a new system was reduced by 6 times, the number of reports – by 3 times. In parallel with transfer of a system to the new platform and testing, three new universe and several tens of reports are developed.

"In addition to the solution of the assigned tasks connected with improvement of process of management of a system and quality improvements of technical support, transition to a new software version will allow the customer to create the schedule of execution of reports, to automate process of their publication and mailing.
