Sber is working on siding with an analogue of TikTok

The Telegram channel CHIPZ creators for content creators contains a presentation of the new service. According to her, Chipz should become an analogue of TikTok, which "will combine a content catalog, video editor and social network." It is specified that the service will have different templates (chips), when working with which you can use the built-in library of music, cinema and shows.

For example, through the Sberbank chip, it will be possible to advertise and sell goods. The function of video responses to videos has already been introduced into the social network. The developers plan to add the ability to create their own chips and mini-games, as well as make a fund to financially support creators, the publication says.

Chipz has little chance of becoming a real competitor to TikTok, since the service does not have a unique sales offer, Karen Ghazaryan, director of the Institute for Internet Research, said in an interview with the newspaper.

TikTok is not about publishing short videos, but about watching what you are interested in. TikTok's unique offering is that it has the best recommendation algorithm on the market. And Chipz and its description look like it's a product for management or investors, not users. No one needs clones, the expert concluded.[1]
