Inclusion of respiratory circuits for mechanical ventilation in the state register of medical devices by Roszdravnadzor

On August 24, 2022 Roszdravnadzor , he entered into, State Register of Medical Devices and Organizations Producing and Manufacturing Medical Devices information medical about the product "Non-sterile Kontur medical respiratory disposable use according to TU 32.50.21-001-03741033-2021" manufactured by Globus LLC. Reaching the planned performance, which is about 35 thousand sets of respiratory circuits per month, is expected within a few weeks. The products will be supplied under the Aertonika brand, which has already received the status of a resident, and Skolkovo will be produced at the facilities of the plant located in the city. Moscow This was announced on August 30, 2022 by the company "."Globus

Roszdravnadzor introduced respiratory circuits for mechanical ventilation from Globus into the state register of medical products

As reported, an increase in requests for respiratory circuits of domestic production, regularly received by Globus, indicate interest from all market participants, including both LPUs and suppliers of medical equipment in the regions. The attitude of the latter indicates a shift in the focus of interest on consumables from Russian manufacturers.

The company sees the path of its development, including in cooperation with manufacturers of medical equipment for respiratory therapy, including artificial ventilation devices and ventilators, anesthesia and respiratory devices, as well as respiratory circuits for inhalation procedures using xenon and other therapeutic gases. Thus, some models of the brand's respiratory circuits were designed taking into account constructive and interoperability with the domestic apparatus for the therapy of AIT-NO-01 nitrogen oxide (TIANOX), the manufacturer of which is FSUE RFNC - VNIIEF.

Respiratory circuits for mechanical ventilation

As of August 2022, respiratory circuits are included in the protectionist list of government decree No. 102. In June 2020, they, being products for the fight against COVID-19, were included in the fast track list. And at the end of June 2022, the connectors of pipes and masks for the respiratory circuit were included in the list of potentially scarce medical devices, in connection with which their registration on the Russian market was optimized.

All medical devices developed by Globus are used in prosthetics of the external breathing function in cases where a person needs auxiliary or artificial ventilation of the lungs. Their use is necessary in intensive care units, pulmonology units and is prescribed in general anesthesiological aids ("narcoses").

The planned production volume by groups of components includes:

  • respiratory circuits and breathing tubes - 35 thousand per month;
  • respiratory gas monitoring lines - 100 thousand per month;
  • respiratory duct connectors - 40 thousand per month;
  • moisturizing chambers for mechanical ventilation - 2 thousand per month.

In Moscow, launched the production of respiratory circuits for ventilators for 100 million rubles

In mid-July 2022, Globus announced the production of respiratory circuits for artificial lung ventilation (IVL) devices, respiratory and oxygen therapy at the facilities of the plant in Moscow. We are talking about products under the brand name "Aerotonics." About 100 million rubles are invested in the project.

The company localized devices and respiratory systems for anesthesia and respiratory devices, aerosol and oxygen therapy, including oxygen masks and circuits for anesthesia equipment and ventilators.

Start of production of respiratory circuits for ventilators for 100 million rubles

The production capacity at the first stage will be 400 thousand units of products per year. The company estimates the volume of the Russian market at 2-4 million units per year, while it is 80-90% occupied by foreign suppliers, including Coviden and Drager. Globus expects deliveries through tenders on the state order market - about 50%, another quarter is planned to be shipped through direct sales. The rest is through OEM and distributor channels.

Among the products of the Aertonika brand by July 2022 there are:

  • respiratory circuits required to connect the patient to a ventilator or anesthesia-respiratory apparatus;
  • moisture collectors collecting excess moisture from exhaled air and preventing its return to the human lungs;
  • anesthetic masks, directing anesthetics and gases into the patient's airways without loss and overspending;
  • connectors, adapters and connectors saving medical staff time.

According to the SPARK-Interfax system, Globus LLC is 50% owned by Vladimir Kostitsyn, co-owner of Delete laser cosmetology clinics, another 20% belongs to Dmitry Zakharchenko, owner of the distributor of equipment for functional, radiation diagnostics and cosmetology. A similar package of the company belongs to Alexander Hvorostyanov, the holder of another share of 10% is Maxim Voronkin.[1]
