Nexign has updated MegaFon's corporate portal by adding capabilities and tools for skills assessment and individual employee development. The system for solving HR problems is implemented on the basis of the Neon platform. Nexign announced this on November 9, 2023.

As part of the recent update, the Talents section was improved, which included the Goal Setting, Survey 360 and IPR modules (individual employee development plan). They form a unified talent management system for the company, and the ability to independently configure the portal allows you to change functionality without involving IT services or a vendor. The manager's personal account was also added to track and adjust indicators, set goals and perform other tasks.

The joint use of the capabilities of Goal Setting, Survey 360 and IPR made it possible to determine employee development goals and specific growth zones within the framework of the company's common goals and strategy. As a result of the 360 Survey, each employee receives information about their growth zones. This data is used in the preparation of FPIs and the formation of recommendations for the development of the required skills.

The updated target setting module has greatly simplified the goal setting process. Now the portal administrator can set flexible target setting dates, from a month to a year, and differentiate goals, execution period and KPIs () KPI for different departments using the reference book system and no-code tools. The effectiveness of achieving goals within the framework of goal setting and individual development forms the final rating of employees, which affects bonuses. This information is available to both the employee and the manager. At the same time, the corporate portal gives the manager the opportunity to manually adjust the final indicators when summing up annual results.

The integration of the Survey 360 and IPR modules made it possible to ensure a systematic relationship between the individual development process in accordance with the company's values ​ ​ and the value assessment process as a result of the development and training of employees during the year. A distinctive feature of the Polling 360 module is the ability to flexibly configure the methodology when process components are assembled as a constructor. This allows you to take into account the needs of all target audiences within the company. The module also provides for operational consolidation and receipt of all necessary data, which are automatically generated into full-fledged reports. The built connection between the Goal Setting and IPR modules allows each employee to form their own development plan for the year, based on those growth zones that will contribute to the fulfillment of strategic and corporate business goals. Having access to his development plan throughout the year, the employee keeps the focus on the tasks that he must fulfill in order to achieve his goals. At the same time, during the six-month review, he has the opportunity to adjust the development plan when changing the functional goals or position, - said Irina Sokolova, Director of the Development and Training Directorate of MegaFon.

2022: Transition from SAP SuccessFactors to the domestic Neon platform

MegaFon on July 29, 2022 informed TAdviser about the transfer of key HR processes to the Russian Neon platform. Nexign will replace SAP SuccessFactors. It is expected that the transition to domestic software will allow MegaFon not to depend on regular license payments and save tens of millions of rubles annually.

With the help of the solution from Nexign, MegaFon will be able to solve the main HR tasks in a single system, for example, on adapting employees, setting goals, paying bonuses.

According to Roman Ermolenko, Director of Corporate Development and Human Resources at MegaFon, the company has a program to develop employees and improve their personal efficiency. To achieve these tasks, the company does not have enough standard IT solutions that most developers offer.

The Neon platform is built on a microservice architecture: each of its components is developed as a separate IT product. At the same time, the system is in the closed circuit of MegaFon, and all data has been transferred to the company's own data centers. This architecture makes it possible to complement and adapt the system to the tasks of a company of any scale and industry.

Within three months, the corporate portal and goal setting system were completely transferred to the platform, which brought together about 30 thousand employees of MegaFon and its subsidiaries in the digital space. The company estimates that the full migration of key HR processes to the Neon platform will be completed by the end of 2022.
