Orenburgneft switched to domestic CAD

2022: Transition to a domestic computer-aided design system

On August 4, 2022, it became known that Orenburgneft had completely switched to the domestic computer-aided design system. The digital platform allows you to design and model objects of various complexity, create design and design documentation.

Since 2015, Rosneft has been implementing the "Program for the localization and import substitution of equipment and technologies" to ensure the stability of its production activities and fulfill the tasks of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of localization and import substitution. The Program is based on the goals and objectives set forth in Rosneft's Strategy and Long-Term Development Program.

The created platform fully complies with Russian design standards and is compatible with other CAD platforms. The system products are included in the Unified Register of Russian Programs for Electronic Computers and Databases.

The introduction of an IT product with the included modules "Design Documentation System for Construction" and "Mechanics" will allow the company's employees to quickly switch to Russian software without interruption from production.

Also, platform users can save and continue to use their developments in other CAD systems - drawings, projects, the usual interface - which allows them to continue processing 2D documentation without interruptions in accordance with Russian standards ^[1]].
