The structure of IBS co-founder Sergei Matsotsky acquired 40% of Bloomtech

On November 24, 2022, it became known about the sale of 40% of Bloomtech to the GS INVEST group of IBSergey Matsotsky, co-founder. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the structure of Development Center LLC owned by GS INVEST JSC became the owner of 40% of Bloomtech LLC. At the same time, the shares of the ex-head of the presidential administration and a member of the board of directors of Yandex Alexander Voloshin and the founder of Genome Ventures Alexander Smbatyan are 15%. Another 30% of the fintech startup belongs to the founder of Ubic Vitaly Sattarov.

The deal aims to improve Bloomtech's position to penetrate related sectors, including non-financial ones, where the company's services can also be in demand, said Tinkoff Artem Feokstistov, a fintech expert and former SRO of international projects.

Alexander Voloshin and Alexander Smbatyan each received a 25% stake in Bloomtech

In July 2022, the former head of the presidential administration of Russia and the current member of the board of directors of Yandex, Alexander Voloshin, as well as the founder of Genome Ventures, Alexander Smbatyan, each received a 25% stake in Bloomtech. The startup is engaged in platform solutions for the banking sector. This is a fintech platform for secure interbank analysis of data on individuals' accounts in order to reduce the risk of fraud and default.
