Iteko implements GIS and makes plans

ITEKO company, increasing the level of controllability and increasing volumes within primary activity, implements the solution OPTIMUM GIS of group CDC.

Objectives

The geography of activity of "ITEKO" covers more than forty cities of the Russian Federation and gradually oversteps the bounds of the country.

With the help GIS OPTIMUM ITEKO assumes to optimize logistics and strengthens control over cargo transportation. System implementation is designed to reduce costs for processing and scheduling of requests, to reduce cost value of cargo transportation (due to reduction of a run, expenses on fuel and lubricants, exceptions of inappropriate use of the CU), to raise the security level of operation of transport.

Execution

The first stage of the project specialists of CDC developed and brought OPTIMUM service of the GIS SMS using which the transport company will exercise control over cargo deliveries in scales of the country and will reduce costs on mobile communication with drivers into operation. Data of exchange are registered and stored in the accounting system of the 1C enterprise. Thus, "ITEKO" reduces communication expenses, controls the history of interaction with drivers, increases speed and improves customer service quality.

The company started system deployment of OPTIMUM: Monitoring which will allow to strengthen control over cargo delivery and to reduce the probability of plunders. For this purpose vehicles are equipped with GPS trackers which provide transfer of coordinates of each CU, have a connectivity of the additional sensors allowing to control the mass of parameters of the CU in real time that expands possibilities of control and safety of transportations.

Prospects

The next stage of the project plans connection of modules of routing and analytics. It is supposed that they will allow the company to optimize logistics of deliveries.
